These 2-color and 4-color logos were for shakeoffthecity.com, an online
travel magazine I founded in the late '90s. The logo conveys a fun,
vacation attitude, and recalls the primary reasons people get away:
for either relaxation or adventure (or both!). Because shakeoffthecity.com
was a regional guide for getaways within a few hours' of New York City,
I felt it was important to incorporate the tag line, "explore next
door," into the logo design.
